Brendan has been around fitness and athletics since childhood. Consistently excelling at both team-centered and individual sports, Brendan's focused and practical approach to training is rooted in his competitive spirit. Before his arrival in New York City, Brendan sharpened his knowledge of conditioning skills as a trainer to the University of North Carolina's dynastic Women's Soccer Team and traveled extensively nation-wide running his own competitive soccer club.
Brendan strongly believes that the pursuit of fitness can have a lasting effect on one's life. Consistently finding new ways to keep your mind-body connection fully engaged, Brendan strives to encompass all components of fitness, all the while shedding fat, burning calories, and preventing injury.
Expertise: Brendan excels in helping clients with body fat reduction, innovative functional training, along with strength, core and balance work on various surface types (Physio, Bosu, ect.).

Beach season's around the corner, which, honestly, is a mixed blessing. Sure, you can finally frolic in the surf, but the moment of truth comes the second you don that bikini. Your thunder thighs and jelly roll will testify to how successful that New Year's resolution really was. Fortunately, there's still time to get the beach body of your dreams. According to Brendan Comer, a trainer at Peak Performance in Chelsea, "aside from aesthetic appeal, your abdominal muscles serve you functionally on a day-to-day basis, keeping your posture and organs in correct alignment." Comer has devised a workout to strengthen your abs (and organs) in time for the summer.
